Environment Levy* The funding of environmental iniatives for the shire. This includes the $ 2,128 $ 1,718 -19.3%
acquisition and maintenance of land (including an interest in land)
suitable for environment conservation purposes, support for private
land conservation partnerships, funding of management and
administrative arrangements for the Noosa Biosphere Reserve, an
environmental grants program for collaborative community-based
initiatives, capacity building and/or research projects, and significant
environmental projects or programs that are closely aligned with the
Noosa Environment Strategy.
Sustainable Transport Levy To contribute towards the costs associated with a range of transport $ 912 $ 690 -24.3%
services and initiatives related that have the purpose of reducing traffic
congestion and demand on the shire road network.
Heritage Levy To fund a cultural heritage program for the management, protection $ 304 $ 153 -49.7%
and improvement of the heritage of the shire.
