Both the fuel forecourt canopy, and the drive-thru awning structures have ‘turned-down’ fascia
panelling to give the impression of the traditional shopfront awning. Turning down the fascia in
this manner, and incorporating textured timber columns, creates a visual focus, typically unseen
in similar developments.

Generous boundary setbacks, with additional planting to the landscaped buffers, ensure existing
amenity is maintained to the adjacent residential zone.

In summary, the proposed development delivers a modern, contemporary design, whilst
successfully interacting with the country style vista that the Cooroy environs represents.
Interaction is attained by employing natural, environment mimicking materials, merged with a
neutral colour palette of naturally occurring tones.

The development will deliver an unobtrusive presence within the current landscape with a sense
of comfort and opportunity to its patrons, with the added prospect of generating increased
patronage to Cooroy township”.
