Applicants Comments
With regard to these issues please note the following:
a revised truck turning path showing a rear loading truck is provided in
Attachment B;
drawing 00000-A-06-01 B in Attachment A shows that the chute will be for
general waste only. Drawing 000-A-00-01A G shows that a separate bin
enclosure will be provided for recycling waste directly to the west of the
general waste collection room;
dimensions for the bin room and the location of the chute are shown on
drawing 0000-A-06-01 B in Attachment A;
the notes on drawing 0000-A-06-01 B confirm that the bin collection room
will be used as the bin wash area; and
the notes on drawing 0000-A-06-01 B advise that the bins will be wheeled by
the on-site manager approximately 5m to the loading point for the waste
collection vehicle.
3. The MUSIC model for the proposed development to demonstrate how the
Overall Outcomes of the Water Sensitive Design Code, and the State Planning
Policies for water quality are to be achieved.
Applicants Comments
A MUSIC model has been prepared by Aquaintel and is provided in Attachment D.
4. Peak flow modelling results to demonstrate the proposed development will not
cause an increase in peak runoff in a 1 year ARI compared to the existing
scenario.
Applicants Comments
The Stormwater Management Plan prepared by Aquaintel in Attachment C
demonstrates that the proposed development will not cause an increase in peak
run off in a 1 year ARI event.
5. Preliminary stormwater drainage plan which demonstrates that it will be
possible for the proposed development to incorporate the water quality and
quantity treatment measures proposed in modelling (or in Healthy Waterways
Deemed to Comply Solutions). The preliminary stormwater treatment plan
must include the following:
a. Proposed surface levels that demonstrate all areas of the developed
site will flow to the proposed water quality and quantity treatment
devices
b. Invert levels of inlet and outlet pipes to and from the proposed
detention tank and bioretention basin to demonstrate there is
adequate fall between the low flow outlet of the detention tank, inlet to
the bioretention basin and outlet pipe to legal point of discharge
c. The preliminary stormwater design must also provide adequate footprint
in the design for 1:4 batters and inlet scour protection within any
proposed bioretention basin.
