          Plate 8 – Potential habitat trees in proximity to the development site

          The works are most likely to occur without impacting these larger trees however it is
          recommended that an ecologist be present onsite prior to clearing works to mark trees in
          proximity to the clearing impact area that are to be retained.

          In terms of general fauna observed during the site investigation, some birds were observed
          within the canopy along the gullies, including kookaburra and noisy miner, with eastern yellow
          robin located within the understorey. Bandicoots are present within the groundstorey,
          evidenced by their conical diggings along the edge of the gully system.

3.5      PEST SPECIES
         Rhinella marina (cane toad) is the only pest species that has previously been recorded within 1km
         of the property on the WildNet database. The cane toad is an introduced species and is listed as
         an invasive animal under the Biosecurity Act 2014. No weeds have previously been recorded
         within 1km of the property.

         The site inspection identified that weeds were fairly low density through the majority of the intact
         forest, with Lantana camara (lantana) most prevalent within the gully areas. Passiflora
         suberosa (corky passion vine) was also observed along the ridges, particularly toward the north.
         Low density of Cinnamomum camphora (camphor laurel) was also noted in some areas along the
         gully system. Lantana camara (lantana) and Cinnamomum camphora (camphor laurel) are both
         category 3 restricted invasive plants under the Biosecurity Act 2014.
