Location of monopole

Figure 6.17 Location plan of 398 and 428 Tablelands Road
Table 6-3 Assessment of Viewpoint 2b: View from 398 and 428 Tablelands Road
Description of the view These residences are generally orientated southeast towards Mount Pinbarren and other more
distant Glass House Mountains. The views from these properties are therefore oriented away
from the site.
Description of the The proposal would be located approximately 800 metres to the south to southwest of these
Proposal residences. The viewshed diagrams show the site not within view of these properties due to
intervening landform. Refer Figure 6-16 and 6-17.
It is possible that the upper portion of the tower may rise above the intervening landform and
vegetation and be seen from this location. If visible, the uppermost portion of the monopole
would be a very small element in a view, viewed against a backdrop of vegetation, and not in line
with any of the features of these views, which are to the south east.
Visual Sensitivity This view has a neighbourhood visual sensitivity as it is located on a rural road and represents
views from a small group of rural dwellings.
Visual Modification If visible, the monopole would comprise a small element in the background of this view. It would
be a peripheral element and largely absorbed as it would be seen amongst trees, against a
backdrop of trees and not in line with the focal points of these views.
There would be no perceived change in the amenity of this view.
Level of Impact Negligible visual impact
