SERVICES & ORGANISATION COMMITTEE MEETING AGENDA 11 JULY 2017
/\. BOOMERANG
| ALLIANCE
We believe that, as the leader of the community, Council can, through its support for the plan, provide the
essential impetus to continue to progress, and then to motivate and assist with the coordination of the
plans implementation.
We wish to clarify that this is a draft plan which will only be confirmed through negotiation and agreement
with partner organisations, including Noosa Council.
With Council support and endorsement, the initiators of this proposal intend to establish a Coordination
Group of involved agencies to progress this plan. A key aim will also be to engage and involve other
organisations, businesses and individuals whose actions will contribute to the plan.
Decision We Seek from Council
1. Council support for this initiative, and agreement to join the Coordination Group
2. Participation/agreement in the formal plan design and schedule of activities
3. Promotion of the plan to stakeholders and public, including a public/media launch
4. Delivery of any agreed actions and funding towards the implementation and delivery of the plan
Our detailed proposal is attached.
