Survey – areas of interest for SROI
In general, surveys sought the following information and anecdotal evidence:

     • Respondent location
     • Duration of involvement (years)
     • Types of activities undertaken at the Digital Hub
     • What they value about the Digital Hub (if anything)
     • Achievements to date (if any)
     • Extent to which any achievements can be attributed to the availability and operation of the Digital
             Hub (if any)
     • Confidence in working in and progressing projects from the Noosa locality.

5.1 Survey administration
The SROI surveys were built within an online survey tool – Formstack – with a link by email sent to the Digital
Hub stakeholder database by email. The survey was open for input across July 2021.

5.1.1 Framework for future evaluations

Through initiating this evaluation, Council now has the framework - through the survey and SROI calculation
table (See section 8) - to re-run this evaluation in future years. It now has the tools to also assess the value of
other economic development initiatives and related ventures.

5.2 Response to surveys
Data was generated across the three (3) target stakeholder types (members, Digital Hub network and
students). Relevant findings follow, in section 6.

Strong response from the Digital Hub ‘community’

The surveys generated a strong response from the Digital Hub community:

         • 20 Digital Hub members
         • 60 Digital Hub network participants
         • 48 Students/ Parents

This large stakeholder group generated a detailed, rich qualitative and quantitative data set to build a clear
picture of the benefits and the SROI.
