• Increased collaboration (new business opportunities, 48.5% of respondents)
• New skill development (40%, with only 5% explaining skills have remained the same)
• Increased confidence to progress projects and products (somewhat - significant, 80%) (and 38.5%
crediting the Digital Hub with significantly benefitting their career).
Noting these outcomes would not have happened to a great extent without the Digital Hub initiative,
reasonable financial proxies are nominated to ascribe value within the SROI. These include:
• Conversion of business opportunities into commercial outcomes (which is moderated with
deadweight, drop off and displacement)
• Value of new product development, including investment, and client identification & acquisition
through collaboration (attributed value among a notional number of members)
• Value of professional development and in-service opportunities (such as fee-for-service conferences
and skills development seminars).
These SROI treatments are included in the SROI calculations in section 8.
