6.2.3 Attribution of outcomes to the Digital Hub

This section of the survey seeks to understand the extent to which outcome can be attributed to the Digital Hub

Discussion

Responses to the above provide useful guidance regarding the extent to which outcomes can be attributed to
the availability of Digital Hub, and Council initiatives to unite and foster a local technology community through
networking and professional development.

While not attributed a value in this evaluation, the availability of a local network will be a significant advantage
and attraction for new residents with these interests, and a reason to move to Noosa to establish a local digital
enterprise or base.

Members of the network also offer support for young technology aspirants as part of the Digital Hub’s
development of local talent. The availability of a local pathway to a career in the digital industry, supported by
local mentors within the network, and centred around the purpose-built Digital Hub is a considerable
advantage for the next generation of technology talent.
