GENERAL COMMITTEE MEETING AGENDA 15 MARCH 2021
Stormwater:
The applicant’s proposed water quality and water quantity outcomes have been reviewed by
an external consultant who advises the applicant has addressed the significant issues in
regard to stormwater quantity/quality and any outstanding issue could be addressed by the
inclusion of reasonable conditions. Notably, the stormwater bio- basin for the senior living
facility is proposed on the golf course land and would require an easement to be created
over these to allow maintenance of these into the future.
Sewer connection:
Documentation provided by the applicant includes a Decision Notice from Unitywater which
authorises and is limited to connection of network infrastructure and property services
infrastructure at Lots 2 & 3 SP115864 to Unitywater’s network infrastructure, and where
relevant, the establishment of water supply and sewerage network works infrastructure,
subject to conditions. The approval requires works to be in accordance with a Water Supply
and Sewerage Network Capacity Assessment prepared by the applicant which states the
proposed development will be serviced by a private pump station and rising main that is
planned for connection to the SPS CRY012 catchment, via a gravity main crossing across
Myall Street. The rising main alignment will be located within the subject site and allotments
to north, parallel to the western property boundaries.
The proposed location of the private pump station and rising main are detailed in the following
