Sunshine Beach Surf Life Saving Club #1966d1-B Acoustic Report (Minor Change Application) 12 August 2025 6 Conclusion This acoustic report has provided evaluation of Noosa Council’s existing noise-related approval conditions for the Sunshine Beach Surf Life Saving Club (MCU17/0024.02), and details proposed amendments to specific conditions (refer to Section 5). The proposed amendments are supported by an acoustic assessment methodology (detailed in Section 3) accepted by the Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation (OLGR), with subsequent noise conditions endorsed by OLGR on the venue’s current liquor licence. In addition, detailed discussion was provided in Section 4 which further supports the proposed amendments. Should Noosa Council implement the recommendations presented in Section 5 in full and venue management comply with the subsequent conditions, the venue is not expected to generate unreasonable noise as defined in the Liquor Regulation 2002. The intended outcomes of the existing approval conditions would still be maintained, but are updated to be relevant of the venue’s current acoustic situation and align with conditions endorsed by OLGR. Should further information or investigations be required, please contact Live It Acoustics on 1300 775 800.
