Continuous ocean noise (waves crashing) were observed to be a feature of the ambient
acoustic environment surrounding the venue. Observations onsite and measurement data
indicated that the overall level of ocean noise increased at measurement points situated closer
to the ocean. Overall variances observed in the measurement data between pre-10pm and
post-10pm assessment periods were minor (no greater than 3 dB fluctuation), also indicated
that the ambient noise levels are generally consistent in the area at night due to the effects of
ocean noise.

aerial imagery below in Figure 12.
