               65. Where retained trees are located in areas proposed to be filled on the site (or are located on
neighbouring allotments to the area to be filled), there will be a need to prevent fill material
from being placed on the tree’s root system. To this end, the design of any filling works will
need to incorporate terracing around the tree or a similar means of ensuring that the natural
ground level around the trees remains generally the same as existing. These measures shall
clearly be shown on the plans submitted for Operational Works approval and any drainage
required to drain these areas shall also be shown on the plans.
               66. An environmental maintenance period of 12 months shall commence after the Landscaped
area has been re-vegetated and all declared & environmental weeds have been removed
from the entire property. Council’s appointed Environmental Officer shall sign the
maintenance period ‘on’ and ‘off’ after this work has been successfully completed. To this
extent, the Officer has the discretion to pause the maintenance period if work has not been
carried out as instructed or if lengthy time delays occur.
               Erosion and Sediment Control
               67. Any person acting on this permit shall prevent erosion and sediment export from leaving the
site. Site control measures such as silt fencing, controlled gravel access to the site and
controlled disposal of waste, will be necessary.
In this regard plans detailing the methods of controlling erosion and sediment are required
to be submitted to the Council for approval prior to obtaining a Development Permit for
                      Operational Works.
Contributions Towards Council Infrastructure (amended 1/07/2019)
