Construction communications
A construction communications plan was designed collaboratively by TNC and NC. The plan outlined the key activities that
were to be undertaken to ensure the Noosa community were well informed of the construction works. The plan included
public notices, special information sheets, letterbox drops and visits to affected households businesses.

The letterbox drops were undertaken in two stages: Late July 2022 for the business and residents close to the load out site
on Hilton Esplanade, and early August 2022 for the residents of the Noosa Sound that could be affected by the construction
activities at Noosa Sound East and West restoration sites.

Few residents on Witta Circuit and Mossman Court were home, when visited, but those that were expressed for the project
with comments such as “It’s about time.” and “I’m glad it’s not a walkway.” All affected households received an information
pack and contact information for TNC.
