It is noted that the Area of Biodiversity Significance mapping was identified prior to the exempt
clearing for bushfire protection recently being carried out in the southern end of the site and is no
longer considered accurate with on-ground vegetation conditions. In addition, Council’s Senior
Environment Officer has reviewed the proposal and confirmed that the Riparian Protection Area
mapping has been overrepresented on the site and captures the existing building and modified /
landscaped area in the eastern site extent (refer to Figures 14 & 15), stating that this area exhibits
limited woody vegetation and contains no macrophytes, hence the mapping is not considered
representative of onsite conditions.
