Stage 4: Golf Room / Workshop and Tennis Court

The proposed Golf Room and Workshop are recreational facilities provided for use by residents of
the village. The Golf Room is expected to generate a small amount of waste. The workshop is
expected to produce a modest amount of general waste and small amounts of recyclable waste. For
the purposes of calculating the weekly volume of general waste and recyclable waste to be produced
by both uses, the Golf Room has been treated as a commercial business office (0.1kg / per 1m2 /
day general waste) and the Workshop is to be treated as a domestic house and hardware business
(0.3kg / per m2 / day general waste). Table 3.2 below provides the waste generation calculations for
the Golf Room and Workshop facility.

Stages 1 – 6: Retirement Village Component - Detached Dwellings & Caretakers Residence

Stages 1 through 6 of the proposed development are comprised entirely of detached residential
dwellings. The detached dwellings contained within the retirement village component of the
development shall be treated as standard residential dwellings.
