Appendix F - Amended Solid Waste Management Plan

Stages 1-6: Residential Dwellings

As previously identified, all residential dwellings to be constructed within the retirement village will
be provided with a single 240L general waste bin and a single 240L recyclable waste bin. The
servicing of residential dwellings located within Stages 1-5 is to be undertaken from the
corresponding street frontage. Residents shall be responsible for the transfer of bins from their
storage point to their servicing point.

The 10 lots included within Stage 6 of the development, are to be serviced from common servicing
points located adjacent to the Caravan Storage area. Servicing the Stage 6 lots via their
corresponding road frontage by the service waste vehicle is not possible due to the vehicle not being
able to navigate the proposed 4m road widths.

Given the likely age Stage 6 patrons, there is the potential that they may be unable to move wheelie
bins to the identified servicing location. As such, it is recommended that a service be offered to Stage
6 residents for the transfer of wheelie bins to and from the identified temporary servicing points for
servicing.

Additionally, a swept path analysis has been completed in order to demonstrate that the lots
contained within Stage 6 can be serviced by the service waste vehicle. An extract taken from the
