2.     Electrical Infrastructure

Following Energex investigations it is considered that there is limited risk from the public utility
aspect of electrical infrastructure. However, as the pad mount transformer and charging units are
yet to be fully designed there remains some risk of unforeseen costs. At this stage unforeseen
costs are allowed for in the $40,000 contingency amount.

Council is also seeking that relevant Australian Standard testing be applied to the Higer / AOWEI
charging infrastructure prior to it leaving China to ensure that it is able to operate within the same
parameters required by Energex’s network to reduce compatibility risks.
