Design and Check Vehicles
Commercial vehicles are grouped into seven classes based on vehicle size and configuration as specified below in Table
1. To facilitate the design, three standard vehicle types and one nominated vehicle type have been utilised as
appropriate to inform swept paths, intersection arrangement and carriageway design.

The identification of vehicle classifications and areas of operation have been informed by the Noosa Shire Council
Waste Management Team and intended waste management operations.
