Historical Imagery
QImagery was accessed to view historical aerial imagery (CC State of Queensland) and
determine the extent of vegetation and habitat connectivity included in Table 5. Historical
imagery demonstrates continual vegetation clearing over a prolonged period (>70 years)
with limited capacity for regrowth.

Details Map Extract
1953 Eumundi to Gympie Rail
(1:26,000 Film QAP524 Frame 9).
Historical imagery indicates no
constructed road access for church
street (between Red St and
Memorial Ave). Extensive clearing
of vegetation of site has been
undertaken pre 1953. Extrinsic to
the site, vegetation cover is
illustrated with an area of
approximately 150m2 adjoining the
south-western site boundary;
however, fragmentation of the
south-western riparian corridor
vegetation (end of Pottery St) is
evident further upstream.
2000 Pomona Connection Road
(1:7,500 Film QAP5823 Frame
121).
Vegetation clearing activities has
continued with approximately seven
canopy trees on site in 2000 and
inferred juvenile trees or shrubs in
riparian zones. Some regrowth is
observed on the church street
verge in proximity to the south-
eastern corner of the site. Dwellings
(2) that are currently constructed
over and within the northern non-
perennial watercourse in Red
Street adjoining the site are not
evident in 2000. Riparian regrowth
is evident adjacent the Eastern
boundary of the site downstream.
