These requirements are addressed in the MCU development application bushfire
management report (FM 5601- Eldon Bottcher Architect Dated 27/01/2022).
x Erosion and Sediment Control: Any operational works application should minimise any
adverse impact upon groundwater, watercourses, drainage lines, wetlands, and
vegetation including approved erosion and sediment control plans are implemented.
x Construction Activities: A construction management plan should include
recommendations that may be required to avoid or mitigate any impacts of the proposed
development during the detailed design and operation phases. Impacts of noise, vibration
and light will be temporary, and no vehicles or machinery used for operational works or
disturbances of any kind shall occur on-site within approved scheduled times, and works
should be staged to minimise disturbances.
x Stormwater Management: The riparian buffer zone in the southern section of the site is
an ecologically important areas that should be protected and enhanced by managing the
quality and quantity of stormwater runoff from development in accordance with the
approved MCU stormwater management plan and RPEQ civil design.
x Landscaping and Rehabilitation: Strategies outlined in section 5.0 of this report with
design of landscape and rehabilitate areas with invasive species are undertaken to
complement and enhance existing vegetation.
x No-Go Zones: Prior to the commencement of site activities, the applicant must delineate
the limits of access and disturbance with No-Go zones with an emphasis on the riparian
buffer zone.
x Lighting Design: Building lighting design illuminating areas particularly in proximity to
ecologically important areas incorporate approved low lux lighting or fixtures such as
down lighting with light hoods.
x Fauna Management: Strategies for fauna and habitat management to connecting
habitat to support unimpeded and safe movement of fauna outlined in section 6.0 of this
report are implemented.
