         DESKTOP ASSESSMENT

A review was undertaken of databases and information to assess the ecological attributes of
Local, State and Commonwealth significance.

           Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999
The Commonwealth Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act (EPBCA)
1999 protected matters search for the proposed development was undertaken with a 5km
radius buffer of the application area. The search identified two threatened ecological
communities recorded as a community that may occur within the area.
x   Coastal Swamp Sclerophyll Forest of New South Wales and South-East Queensland ±
    Endangered status
x   Lowland Rainforest of Subtropical Australia ± Critically Endangered Status
A total of 51 threatened species were recorded as potentially occurring within the site or 5km
buffer area. The protected matters search results with all listed species are included in
