▪ Unit weight and shear strength parameters adopted for the soil strata were estimated based on our
interpretation of the geotechnical investigation data and were typically within the mid range of
values recommended for similar materials in Appendix D of Australian Standard AS4678-2002 Earth
    Retaining Structures.
▪ Analysis was undertaken for specified slip entry and exit zones to assess global slope instability
allowing for the full extent of the building envelope. The analysis returned an acceptable minimum
FOS value in excess of 1.5 for the longer term conditions anticipated (including allowance for a
consistent groundwater table at 1.5 m BGL).
▪ This result exceeds the industry standard minimum FOS requirement of 1.5.
Our analysis indicates that an acceptable FOS against instability could be achieved for proposed
residence at 22/512 David Low Way and that there would be a Low Risk of slope instability affecting the
proposed development, subject to implementation of the recommendations outlined in Section 6.
