EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

RECOMMENDATION
That Council note the report by the Director Corporate Services to the Services & Organisation
Committee Meeting dated 12 May 2020 providing an update on operations of the Corporate
Services Department for the period 1 January – 31 March 2020.


REPORT
The adopted organisation structure includes the following branches under the Corporate Services
Department:
   Director’s Office
   Financial Services;
   ICT (including Records and GIS);
   Procurement & Fleet;
   Property; and
   Revenue Services.

Corporate Services primarily provides internal support to the other Council departments, with the
exception of the Director’s Office (involvement in strategic Council issues and projects), and certain
functions of the Property branch dealing with external land and property management.

This report provides a brief summary regarding recent performance, current priorities and future
initiatives for the department.
