Koala Habitat Areas

The subject site is identified in the Noosa Plan as potentially containing vegetation suitable for koala
habitat regrowth. As demonstrated in the below Figure (10), mapping indicates vegetation identified
on site is connected to a larger ecological network. It is noted that a large portion of the mapped
vegetation is located in cleared areas on the subject site and adjoining properties. It is considered
that the vegetation on the subject site does not hold any ecological values, similar to vegetation that
has been removed for the adjoining developments.
