PLANNING & ENVIRONMENT COMMITTEE MEETING AGENDA 07 FEBRUARY 2023

Figure 1 – Existing Jetty and Approved Plans with fuel bowser located at end of jetty

Notwithstanding this significant works are proposed to the existing jetty and it is reasonable that
the applicant be required to undertake the audit and any identified repair works to ensure the fuel
system is in a safe and serviceable condition. This will ensure the system has not been affected
by any recent or new weather events as well as vibrational or physical impact from the new works.
The third party testing of service lines is noted but this was undertaken over 12 months ago and it
is desirable to conduct a full audit of the system.

3. CONCLUSION & REASONS FOR DECISION
It is concluded that conditions 14 and 22 are reasonable and relevant conditions, being
commensurate with the extent of works proposed to the landing and ensure the electrical system
and fuel facility is operating safely and optimally.
