SERVICES & ORGANISATION COMMITTEE MEETING AGENDA 6 APRIL 2021
The service request process for the Waste Section received a significant upgrade during the period
with many requests now being generated online. The change was part of the ongoing implementation
of improved services from Council’s ICT provider. The change in the service request process initially
brought with it some challenges related to automation of requests and a timely follow up with
customers. This led to a few customer complaints and an additional workload on the Waste Section
that needed to be addressed over this period. Waste staff are currently working though solutions that
will ultimately lead to a more streamlined and efficient system for customers.
