Hello everyone. Nagara. That means welcome.

I’m a Kabi Kabi woman. My name is Cecilia
Combo. I have five apical ancestors on the
Sunshine Coast.

I’m the descendent of King Tommy of Noosa.
He worked in the Timber, and also ran boat
tours around the Noosa area. He also had been
selling seafood such as oysters, fish and crabs.
He was a very witty and wise person.

When everyone comes to Noosa I hope they
can see what I see, as it’s a very beautiful place,
and is a special place in my heart.

Noosa is a place for gathering our people.

Welcome to our Country and we all pay our
respects to the Elders past and present
