2 SITE CHARACTERISTICS 2.1 LOCATION The 15.83ha development site is located on four existing properties in the NSC local government area. The site is bounded by Trading Post Road and rural zoned area (Noosa Plan, 2013) to the east, rural zoned area to the north, Pearson’s Rd to the south and Cooroy Connection Road (Elm Street) to the west. The property description are: 1/RP215922 - 19 Trading Post Road; 4/RP215922 - 20 Trading Post Road; 2/RP165418 - 4 Lamonts Road, Cooroy; and 1/RP165418 - 2 Lamonts Road, Cooroy. Figure 2.1 below indicates the approximate location of the site.
