Consultation
External Consultation - Community & Stakeholder
No formal public or stakeholder consultation has been undertaken for this report specifically. When
the site was rezoned to Low Density Residential public consultation was undertaken as part of the
second round of consultation of the draft Noosa Plan 2020. No submissions were received at that
time.
Council has however received a number emails and information from a small number of local
residents regarding this site and their concerns with any proposed development of the site.
Residents and neighbours do not want social housing on this site, they have a sense of ownership
and attachment to this block. That information has been taken into account in preparing this report
and recommendation.
The following external consultants were engaged to undertake preliminary investigations of 30
Toulambi Street, Noosa Heads:
• North Coast Environmental Services – provided a fauna and flora survey
• Switchback Consulting – Hydrology Overview
