to apply for State funding for social housing delivery under the Department of Housing Quick starts
funding program in Noosa. This funding program closed in late January.
Site description
The site is located at 30 Toulambi Street, Noosa Heads bordering the southern boundary of
Pinaroo Park. The following Figures 1 and 2 identify the lot and provide a contour overlay of the
site. The lot contains both non-native and native vegetation and a watercourse is identified within
the Pinaroo Park Bushland Reserve Ecological Restoration Plan traversing the site. These aspects
are further detailed in this report.
A concrete footpath traverses the south west corner of the site with a rock retaining wall located
approximately 6 metres from the front boundary and runs across most of the site. The site is fully
serviced with reticulated water located at Toulambi Street, sewage at the rear north east corner
and stormwater could be disposed of to a lawful point of discharge. Figures 3, 4 and 5 show
services maps. Noting that a reticulated water pump station is located on the neighbouring Council
owned lot 14 (No.32 Toulambi St).
