6. WATER QUALITY




6.1 STORMWATER QUALITY OBJECTIVES

Noosa Council recommends using design standards as described in State Planning Policy 2017
Appendix 2.

The specific stormwater quality management objectives that will apply to the operational phase
of the proposed development have been taken, as advised in the above documents, from SEQ
Regional Plan 2009-2031 Water Sensitive Urban Design: Design Objectives for Urban
Stormwater Management (DERM). These load reduction targets will be used when comparing
the mitigated and unmitigated post-development site.

These load reduction values are based on the developed unmitigated scenario compared to the
developed scenario with stormwater quality improvement devices.
