Figure 1-5 Survey heights of the existing boat shed (2019)

As evidenced by photos, plans and survey information, the existing part-built boatshed is described as:
> A pavilion-style design, with a pitched roof to RL 7.521m in height capable of storing operational marine
  vessels. The western side of the shed slopes down level with the eaves of the roofline of the existing
  brick building;
> Constructed of Colourbond steel, the material finishes include a matte colour range from beige (on the
  lower part of the shed), ‘cream’ (on the upper shed, and roofing) and red-brown (on the roller garage
  doors);
> A workshop and seized storage area are also located within the building;
> The original boat ramp remains and will be supplemented with a new 150mm concrete topping slab.
The boatshed and its pitch roof has been designed at the minimum height required to store a number of marine
vessels, including fixed-canopy boats to satisfy OH&S standards for sun-safety.

1.4.2        Previous boatsheds
As mentioned above, there have been a number of boatsheds and extensions on the subject land since the
1970s, as indicated below. The 1974 boatshed (Figure 1-6) included the existing brick patrol building as well
as a store adjoining the boatshed, part of which was apparently redeveloped in 1981 (although there are no
known plans to illustrate this). The extension of the original boatshed in the rear of the property was approved
in c.2000 (Figure 1-7) and was expanded c.2000. This boatshed was then demolished in 2017 (Figure 1-8).
