B. Enter into an Infrastructure Agreement with the applicant that provides for the acquisition of
part of the site, compensation for this land acquisition, frontage works being undertaken by
Council, demolishing of the existing building and car parking in lieu of 8 on-site car parking
spaces.
REPORT
1. PROPOSAL
This application seeks a Development Permit for a Material Change of Use for a 955m²
convenience shopping centre at 11, 15, 17-19 Hilton Terrace, Tewantin. Twelve separate
tenancies are proposed within a single storey retail building. The tenancies will range from 60m²
to 125m² in area. All existing buildings and accesses are to be removed as part of the
application.
The locality and site plans are included below, with design and landscaping plans included as
Attachment 1.
