  No official overseas travel was undertaken by Councillors or employees during the period.


  Councillor Conduct
  Chapter 5A of the LG Act outlines the requirements for dealing with the conduct of Councillors. In
  particular, the Act prescribes the requirements for local governments for dealing with inappropriate
  conduct, misconduct and corrupt conduct of Councillors to ensure that:
       • Appropriate standards of conduct and performance are maintained; and
       •	A Councillor who engages in inappropriate, misconduct or corrupt conduct is disciplined.
  Councillors’ conduct is governed by the Code of Conduct for Councillors in Queensland, adopted
  by Council on 4 August 2020, which sets out the principles and standards of behaviour expected
  of Councillors and mayors when carrying out their roles, responsibilities and obligations as elected
  representatives of their community.
  Complaints about the conduct of Councillors are to be made, or referred, to the Independent
  Assessor for investigation and determination. The Office of the Independent Assessor will assess
  all complaints received and may also initiate their own investigation if they have reason to suspect
  Councillor misconduct or inappropriate conduct.
  In accordance with section 186 of the LG Regulation, Table 5 outlines orders, actions and outcomes
  relating to the conduct of Councillors for the period.
