Previous Council Consideration
General Committee Meeting Minutes, 18 October 2021, Item 11, Page 28
That Council note the report by the Property Advisor – Commercial Property to the General
Committee Meeting dated 18 October 2021 and:
A. Set fees and charges for the Noosa Holiday Parks to align with the cessation of the end of the
January 2023 Queensland school holidays; and
B. Adopt the Proposed General Cost Recovery Fees and Commercial Charges schedule for
Noosa Holiday Parks for the period ending Monday 23 January 2023 as detailed in the tables
contained within the report.
Finance
• Profits from the Noosa Holiday Parks offset general rate increases and also contribute to
Council meeting its financial sustainability policy requirements.
• Council business activities (waste management, holiday parks) are required to operate on a
full cost pricing (FCP) basis to ensure the competitive neutrality principle is complied with.
Holiday park advance fees have been set considering likely inflation movements in materials
and services and resulting FCP implications.
