SERVICES & ORGANISATION COMMITTEE MEETING REPORT                                     8 FEBRUARY 2022


•      Failure to apply the competition neutrality principle via full cost pricing is a breach of the Local
       Government Act 2009, and could also potentially result in competitive neutrality complaints
       to the Queensland Competition Authority.
•      Failure to extend the fees and charges period exposes Council to a reduction in forward
       bookings, which effects Council’s financial returns and ability to forward financial plan.

Opportunities:
•   Fees are set to ensure ongoing full cost recovery occurs for the business activity at all Noosa
    Holiday Parks.
