Key Comments Total Business Activity
Financial year performance for the Noosa Holiday Parks business activity is positive, delivering
strong revenue and operating surplus outcomes.
Year-to-date (YTD) performance against budget is stable, with operating revenues outperforming
forecast and operating expenditure slightly higher than forecast due to completion of a number of
operational activities within the early part of the financial year.
Broadly, the camping and caravanning industry has stabilised in financial year 2021/22 following
the uncertainty in prior 2020/21 financial year due to Covid-19 related closures and consumer
uncertainty. Demand for camping and caravanning is consistently growing, further confirming the
continued important role of campgrounds and holiday parks within the tourism and recreation
sector.
