4. Noosa North Shore Campground Waste Water Treatment System
The wastewater treatment system (WWTS) was installed as part of 2020 campground
refurbishment project. A number of issues have been identified with the operation of the WWTS
which pose commercial, environmental, operational and compliance risk to Council. Council has
implemented a precautionary cyclical wastewater pump out schedule while Council works to
resolve broader system failures. The system is being monitored by Council’s Plumbing Branch and
contractual advice has been sought on future actions.
5. Brand Development Initiative
The report by the Property Advisor Commercial Property to the Services & Organisation Committee
Meeting dated 11 August 2020 reported that brand and website development was proposed as
part of a broader marketing and communications project for the Noosa Holiday Parks.
The rebranding component for the holiday parks was completed in financial year 2021, including
logos, graphics, value proposition development, unique selling propositions and icons. The new
branding is inspired by Noosa’s natural environment and is unique to each park, whilst retaining
the Noosa Holiday Parks umbrella branding approach.
The new Noosa Holiday Parks website was launched in September 2021, providing improved user
navigation, clear provision of information (park description, rules, maps, announcements) and
streamlined online booking functionality.
