Village Bicycle was started by two local young men with a vision to
providing an environment for all ages to enjoy at Noosa Junction.
Noosa Junction has benefited by the opening of this bar where
people of all ages can enjoy a drink and social gathering. It
provides employment for several young local people who otherwise
would have to look for other employment, which in itself is not a
good thing for Noosa Junction. The two young men are decent
working people with young families of their own and have
contributed to the local area by purchasing homes and working to
provide for their families. | feel Noosa Junction will suffer if Village

week so far in Noosa you have Friday Saturday night you can do
things on (still most bars even close before 12 unless it's Hastings
street anyway) for people like me who also work weekends and the
people in hospitality when it comes to "our weekend" which is

with noise from KB's bar directly across from same resort close
down or change in anyway a bar that has become a haven for
locals and a place that backpackers and locals can join together in
congenial surroundings.

Hastings street around Le Monde and Laguna Jacks at Midnight
almost any night of the week there is life, noise and the

Whoever is on the Noosa Council making these decisions is
compietely out of touch. The demographic that frequent Village
Bicycle is wide and varied spanning from local surfers and
creatives to lawyers, independent and big business owners and it
caters for everyone. Never have | heard a bad word spoken. It's
imperative that these kind of venues be allowed to continue
breathing life into the town otherwise what you will be left with is a
town full of lycra clad geriatrics with no one around to run their

so great to be able to visit Noosa as a tourist (I visit 3-4 times a
