ITEMS 16 AND 17: CAR PARK MANOEUVRING

Swept paths have been prepared showing vehicle manoeuvring in the car park at basement and ground
floor levels. The basement car park layout would be configured to require one-way vehicle circulation as
shown in the latest plans. Therefore, the only two-way section at basement level is between the ramp and
the pedestrian crossing running between car parking space 1 and 31.

The swept paths are attached and demonstrate that:

          the layout would be able to accommodate a B99 passing another B99 on the ramp and at the two-
          way sections of roadway at ground and basement levels at the top and bottom of the ramp
          respectively
          a B99 can enter and egress car parking space 37 (note that space 38 has been removed to
          accommodate the 1.5m easement and pedestrian access to Wimmers Lane)
