Planning Regulation 2017;
The Noosa Plan
3.2 State and Other Statutory Instruments

raises no further issues relevant to the proposal.
South East Queensland (SEQ) Regional Plan
The subject site is located within the Urban Footprint in the SEQ Regional Plan.
Planning Regulation 2017

businesses in Noosa Shire and includes a high proportion of service industries
catering particularly to the coastal populations; and
ii. Cooroy’s industrial estate which can accommodate considerable industrial growth and
offers a moderate level of access to the Bruce Highway and the North Coast rail line.
Desired Environmental Outcomes
The following Desired Environmental Outcomes are also relevant:
3.1.3 e) Industrial Business Uses
Industrial uses and extractive and mining uses contribute to the local economy and employment
sector by—
(i) providing suitable levels of service and employment to the community;
(iii) being predominantly low key, clean and service-orientated;
(ix) industrial uses being of a relatively small scale whist still being a significant contributor to
the local economy, with a product market that will range from local to international scale;
