This parcel (Map 2) on the Noosa River was jointly purchased in 2005 with the Federal
Government under the National Reserve System Program for $1,300,000. Its current tenure is
State-owned freehold land. In discussion with the Department of Environment & Science the
dedication of this land parcel as National Park is pending the excise of an easement along the
eastern boundary, to allow for continued access the adjoining freehold property. National Park
dedication will happen soon after the easement is excised.

Cooloothin Creek Bushland Reserve, 26 Riverpark Drive, Ringtail Creek, 25SP104706 (106ha)
25SP104706 (Map 3) was purchased by Council in 2015 for $2,700,000. Nature Refuge
processing for this reserve is complete and formal gazettal by the State is pending.
