4.0 Monitoring and Evaluation

Monitoring and evaluation protocols should be established in undertaking the weed control
activities recommended in this Plan.

If Noosa & District Landcare Group is engaged to carry out weed control works under this Plan field
supervisors should complete Contractor Site / Log Reports and Herbicide Reports after each work
day is completed on site. This documentation should be reviewed by both Project Manager and
WH&S Officer prior to their submission to clients within the client’s specified time of completion of
works and for each work site. An internal evaluation of each project should occur between Field
Crews and Project Manager and where necessary the Senior Management team.

Direct verbal and/or email communication should occur by the Project Manager to the relevant
client to inform them of the site works being completed, Log Reports are submitted and to discuss
any issues raised in our internal evaluation – e.g. – successful methods used that deserve comment.

These processes provide several opportunities for any potential work delivery related issue to be
rectified before, during or immediately after it could occur.

Progress reporting to be undertaken by the Project Manager at the agreed timeframe of the client to
provide the client an update on the projects progress. This report should identify and provide detail
on the accomplished activities, what resources have been expended, what problems have been
encountered, and whether the project is expected to be completed on time and within budget.
