2.1 Topography
The Plan area is approximately 2.27 hectares in area, varies up to a width of 50 metres between
residential boundary and Lake Weyba and is approximately 450 metres long. The topographical
profile from residential boundary to lake consists of a narrow flat area along the boundary, a steep
and mostly vegetated slope, and a relatively flat level shoreline portion.

2.2 Vegetation
The vegetation within the Plan area is mapped as Regional Ecosystem 12.2.5 ‘Corymbia intermedia
+/- Lophostemon confertus +/- Banksia spp. +/- Callitris columellaris open forest on beach ridges’ and
12.2.7 ‘Melaleuca quinquenervia or rarely M. dealbata open forest on sand plains’ Vegetation
Management Act (1999) class for RE 12.2.5 is ‘least concern’ and biodiversity status ‘of concern’ and
for 12.2.7 VMA (1999) ‘least concern’ and biodiversity Status ‘no concern at present’. Full 12.12.16
and 12.12.2 description details are provided in Appendix 2.

Site survey identified several rainforest species among the vegetation, mostly in the southern half of
the Plan area.
