 SERVICE AREA – ELECTED COUNCIL

 Summary

Objective: Representing the interests of the community of the Noosa Shire local government area and decision
making with a focus on policy direction and delivery of services in the public interest.

Activities: The activities include quadrennial elections, conduct of Council meetings and compliance with statutory
obligations such as register of interests together with administrative support to the Mayor and Councillors.
