4.    Road Infrastructure Asset Management Improvement Initiatives

The development of the Road Infrastructure Asset Management Plan identified a number of
initiatives for continual improvement in achieving good asset management outcomes. Key areas
for improvement included:
 Asset Inventory;
 Condition Assessments;
 Capital Planning;
 Asset Systems;
 Renewal Plans; and
 Maintenance Plans.

These initiatives are detailed in the Asset Management Plan.

Previous Council Consideration
Council has adopted the following Asset Management Plans:
 Noosa Council Strategic Asset Management Plan, September 2017;
 Main Beach Sand Pumping System Asset Management, February 2018;
 Noosa Aquatic Centre Asset Management Plan, March 2018, and
 Road Bridges Asset Management Plan, August 2018.
