RECOMMENDATION
That Council note the report by the Civil Operations Manager to the Infrastructure & Services
Committee Meeting dated 22 July 2014 regarding the 2013/14 TIDS funding.
REPORT
The Roads and Transport Alliance has been set up to allow regional groups to work together to
ensure that available funds for a specific set of local roads of regional significance (LRRS), or
other approved transport infrastructure, are prioritised and expended having regard to regional
needs including road safety, asset management and regional growth and development.
The State Government provides funding to Regional Roads and Transport Groups (RRTG) under
the Transport Infrastructure Development Scheme known as TIDS.
This report provides advice to Council regarding the projects delivered under the 2013/14 TIDS
program and details regarding adjustments to the program made to ensure that all TIDS funds
were expended in the 2013/14 financial year.
The following projects in the Noosa area were approved in the 2013/14 program for Sunshine
