Waste Management Plan QET
Plans and drawings: the text below has words only, no drawings.
8. Conclusion The proposed storage shed will not generate significant additional waste, as it will be used solely for storage associated with existing site operations. The site already maintains adequate waste management infrastructure, including: • 4 × 240 L general waste bins • 2 × 240 L recycling bins • 1 × 2 m² skip bin (equivalent to approximately 8 × 240 L bins) • 1 × 10 m² metal recycling bin This existing capacity is considered suRicient to service the development. Should waste volumes increase slightly in the future, the skip bin collection frequency can be increased from fortnightly to weekly, ensuring ongoing compliance with council waste management expectations. Accordingly, the proposed development is not expected to place additional strain on waste management services and is considered appropriate within the current waste management framework
