ORDINARY MEETING AGENDA 30 APRIL 2020
Cash Management and Investment Performance
Total cash on hand at the end of March 2020 was $76 million. Cash on hand will now degrade by
approximately $40 million as operational and capital costs are incurred through to June 2020.
Financial stress testing is currently occurring to understand the additional cash flow impacts of the
COVID-19 pandemic through to June (in addition to business as usual costs).
The following pie charts present the mix of cash held at March 2020 by agency (graph on the left)
and by credit risk rating (graph on the right). All funds have been invested in accordance with the
Investment Policy and in consideration of the principles of ethical investment, preservation of capital,
return on investment and counterparty thresholds.
